Annette Hernandez, owner of Just 2 Sweet Events, has always had an affinity for event planning. 

 

Her experience spans over 30 years and includes events from baby showers to celebrations of life and every major life milestone in between. In February of 2013 Annette’s passion evolved from a pastime to a business venture. Just 2 Sweet Candy Creations was officially born offering dessert and candy buffets as well as custom gift baskets. 

 

The business continued to grow steadily over the next five years to include full service event planning with décor and linen rentals, floral, and balloon design; the business grew with Annette’s entrepreneurial spirit and she was quickly outgrowing her home work spaces providing services for almost 40 events per year.

 

October 2017 launched the grand opening of her storefront. In addition to the full service options already offered by Annette and the Just 2 Sweet team the business expanded into selling sweet treats and gifts to the warm-welcoming Lompoc Community. With more space, came more creativity and customization with new design options becoming available for 50 plus events and per year.

 

July 2019 brought big changes and expansion for the Just 2 Sweet team as Annette shifted her focus to mainly events and specialty orders under Just 2 Sweet Events. The expansion brought bookings into 2020 all the way through 2025 and the inquiries keep coming in.
